What is Progress Researchs?
Estudios de Progreso ( Progress Studies) is a Fundación Alternativas programme aimed at promoting the formulation of proposals for progress and social change by young researchers.
Research projects are selected via an open competition called every six months. The proposals presented are assessed by an independent, gender-balanced Scientific Committee comprised of experts in diverse branches of the social sciences.
The programme's selection criteria give preference to those proposals aimed at producing a normative result combining the comparative analysis of public policies with a multidisciplinary approach.
Estudios de Progreso is directed by Nicolás Sartorius , executive vice-chairman of Fundación Alternativas, its coordinator is Ignacio Urquizu .
